Both the Variable and Attribute Gages have a total adjustment
range of one full inch, up to the 12-inch size. At that
point the adjustment range changes to a full two inches,
(i.e. 12”-14”; 14”-16”; 16”-18”;
18”-20”).
The
frames are manufactured from 356 aluminum, and heat-treated
to a T-6 condition. This provides a stable, and lightweight
gage.
The
gage head on the Variable Gage has .100”+ of travel.
The
Variable Gage has 5/16”(8mm) wide anvils for a more
solid feel.
The
indicator or transducer collet (3/8 dia.) has an extended
length to allow a better hold without increasing clamping
pressure. This also allows the customer to utilize some
of the newest extended length indicators without difficulty.
The face clearance has been increased to enhance the gages
ability to measure close to a shoulder.
The
indicator can be positioned to be readable from any direction.
A
wide variety of modifications/ alterations are available
for special/ unusual gaging requirements.
